Hoi An is a short bicycle ride away from the beach. It stretches all the way to Da Nang city, offering enough room for everyone to stretch their legs and relax next to the ocean. Things to do by the beach are always entertaining:
- Jet ski
- Snorkelling and scuba diving
- Spend a night on Cham Island
Hoi An is the ultimate stop as it is a cultural overload and so close to the beach. It is difficult to find such a gem of a town close to a beach.
Jet Ski and parasailing if you enjoy being active by the beach.
Jet ski lovers and parasailers are in for a treat. It is one of the most beautiful coast lines you will ever see and being able to go a little sea inward is too much fun. Jet ski rental is available at An Bang beach. Parasailing takes you up, up and away. Strapped to the back of a speed boat you get lifted high into the air for an exhilarating view of the Cham Islands and the Central Vietnam coastline.
The best time for Jet ski and parasailing are during the Spring and Autumn months. Sunny days and minimal wind will allow you to take full advantage of your beach activities.
Snorkeling and Scuba diving at Cham Island
Cham Is land is an absolute must on your Vietnam bucket list. The main island offers guests the opportunity to snorkel or if you feel more daring you can sign up for a scuba diving class. There is an abundance of wildlife below the surface. Colours, bubbles and thousands of little fishes to look at. Visitors may sleep on the beach in small tents or choose from a few homestays. Either way, staying on Cham Island makes it very difficult to return to the main land.
